Nice representation with the charts. I don't have to scratch my head to figure out what I'm looking at, except that my mind needs to subtract the grey from all other CPUs.

So nobody has gotten DOS CD-ROM support working with PCI add-on cards in MS-DOS? CD-ROM support with PCI add-on cards works fine in Windows. CD-ROM support in DOS can be useful for DOS games which require a CD check.

That Gelid fan looks nice. They could probably get some extra cooling if they went to 20 mm for the depth. FN-SX07-22, MSRP = $5. Amazon.com wants $11. newegg.ca wants $15. $5 shipping. The $5 fan becomes $20.

The fan in my AMD FX cooler (photo in above eBay link) is 70 mm square x 20 mm tall. Not the most common size. Has this size become standard these days?

That wouldn't surprise me. The board is a bit warped. There must be thousands of solder joints. I cannot imagine a high discovery rate from visual inspection alone.
