Anyone know where to find IE2 for Win 3.11? According to wiki, it was freeware and a version existed for Win 3.11. The setup file listed on oldversion.com will not install, so it is probably not for Win 3.11. I am looking for IE2 only to test out the speed of internet browsers from around 1995-1996 …

I haven't had a Dallas or ODIN RTC battery last more than 20 years. Soon enough you will want to prep. for the mod.

I have found quite a few irritations and bugs with the Netgear firmware. I was going to wait until the unit was out of its warranty period before flashing the firmware. The RTC on this board is a bit tricky to desolder. Careful of the RTC modules on eBay. They are often old, so check the datecode.

Perhaps it would be easier to run the HDD benchmark with the DVD-RW drive a) connected, b) IDE port disabled in BIOS.

According to Wiki, USB 2.0 emerged April 2000. I have three PIII-Tualatin boards which were produced 2001-2002, but they all have USB 1.1 ports. It is unfortunate, but does beg the question - did any PIII desktop motherboards come with native USB 2.0 ports? What about laptops?
