Iam already using SP2.1A And iam also tested some software.. Using clamwin as virus scanner. Kernelex to use different browsers.. I tested also allmost all browsers. Firefox 3.6 did work, but was almost really slow. Explorer, Opera, Safari didnt work.. They crashed on install, or where to heavy to …

Well, of course. That goes without saying. But once you've put them in static free bags and bubble wrap, what do you do with them then? You can do it in boxes (cardboard of plastic ones) Then put the stuff in and laying it where you have space for? Maybe in a wardrobe or something like that. :lol:

imho that evergreen upgrade is worth more than anything else in that case. If it still works, post the autoexec.bat and config.sys files from the root of the hard drive. If there are any special utilities, that will tell us where/what they are. as for the corrosion, I'd personally take the board …
