Well I guess they must use only Supermicro compatible heatsinks. Looks like I will have to order a set of replacement heatsinks, since I don't think I'm going to also find a set of screws that are going to fit through the threaded holes and be sturdy enough to hold the heatsinks down. Crud.

If I recall correctly, probably the biggest differences between the two are the cartridge slots on the Junior, along with the chiclet keyboard and the external expansion bus. I don't think the Junior had a 286 but just an 8088, while the Tandy 1000 TX had the 286 but still with the 8 bit expansion …

I don't know, some modern stuff is ok but I can't think of anything offhand so maybe I've contradicted myself. Oh wait...I do like Leroux a bit and St. Vincent is pretty good also. Not an artist I thought I'd like but grew on me. I also like Joe Satriani, his guitar instrumentals are amazing.

With the SGIs, maybe $70k. Without them, it's much less. Thank god I paid a total of maybe $500 for the 3 SGI boxes I have.

I use it on my backup "farting around on the interwebs" machine. If my primary app wasn't a Windows only app, I would use it as my main OS.
