Davros asks good questions, I would also try a smaller c:\ partition, a lot of earlier windows didn't like large boot partitions, not sure if Win95 had a limit but wouldn't surprise me.

What video card are you using? I would have thought something as basic as GTA2 would have been happy with either the voodoo or the other card sot eh fact it doesn't like either makes me think its not the Voodoo at fault. I do most my Win9x gaming on my Duel Slot 1 in Win2k. The catch with WIn2k is games take a bit of a performance hit compared with Win98, but the faster hardware gets round that anyway. Bad install? as that's a preferable answer to hardware issue I've played it on a Dx2/66 up to a P3 1Ghz without disabling anything.
