Or find a middle-man that you trust. Someone that will accept a CC-payment and will forward the amount to your own PP-account (minus his/her CC-fee).

Read my 60 Seconds Guide to DOSBox (and don't just read it - follow it too). If that doesn't help, come back with details on how you mounted your C and D drives, how you did the install, how you configured sound, music etc.

I think it is a limit on the sellers PayPal account. A standard account can only receive a certain number of creditcard payments per 6(?) months. Something like 5 CC-payments. After that, the seller needs to upgrade his/her PP-account to a Premium(?) account. It costs some small fee, but if s/he …

DOSBox can not do that. Remember, the IPX-support in DOSBox isn't really IPX. It is IPX-data, wrapped in an IP-packet, that is being transferred between 2 DOSBox'es.

But you are. VDM Sound and DOSBox are 2 different solutions to the same problem and have very little to do with each other. You run your game EITHER with VDM Sound OR with DOSBox. DOSBox do not use VDM Sound, and VDM Sound does not use DOSBox. So ... what are YOU using?

Probably Microsoft Update (or you?) updated the graphics drivers? Try getting the latest and greatest Radeon drivers. Try fiddling with the settings for the driver, e.g. disable/lower hardware acceleration.

I could be wrong, but I don't think DOSBox will run on top of FreeDOS. So you would need to install at least some kind of Windows, probably WinNT 4.x, in a dual-boot configuration perhaps, before you have a chance of running DOSBox. You can not run the games you mention directly from FreeDOS? …
