Definitely upgrade. You can even without any problems at all install 0.72 alongside 0.63. They go into different program folders and can happy co-exist.

"DYNX86" - sounds like a problem with core=auto or core=dynamic. Try changing the core-setting to core=normal.

You have 2 options: 1) Instead of mount c c:\ws5, do a mount c c:\. Not recommended, and you will get a warning from DOSBox. 2) Copy everything in the C:\WS5 folder into a new folder, e.g. C:\DOSBOX\WS5, and then do a mount C "C:\DOSBOX" in DOSBox.

Yep, you need to re-create it from the original CD. And I have never used the -fs iso option, so I think you can safely drop it.

Now try to recreate the CD-image as a CUE/BIN pair instead of an ISO-image. Mount the image.cue file with imgmount.

Only when running a game? Tried unplugging your USB devices? Mouse, joystick, keyboard... Did something update your graphics drivers? Try switching output mode in DOSbox. And which DOSBox are you running? The hacked version that comes with Steam, or an locally installed copy?

1) Don't use Daemon Tools to mount your image. Use the imgmount in DOSBox instead. 2) Disable the Gravis Ultrasound emulation in DOSBox (edit dosbox.conf, set gus=false).

Read my 60 Seconds Guide to DOSBox (and don't just read it - follow it too). If that doesn't help, come back with details on how you mounted your C and D drives, how you did the install, how you configured sound, music etc.

Any OS, including Mac OSX, that has the slightest connection to Unix will have a /tmp directory.
