I have been able to go as low as 320x200, common thing of course at black and white. What's an even lower video mode, specifically in terms of resolution, that Windows will actually allow? I have 160x144 for game boy games, i get as low as 102p for atary linx emulation but i need to increase too …

I have a celeron 400 laptop, windows 95, and eats my 500mhz g3 pismo,in almost everything, the pismo looks like slow motion compared to the PC, whatever boot OS9 or Tiger. For example mplayer playing a divx is almost half speed in lombard compared to celeron But.... i love my Pismo!!!!

I have an AMD 5x86 running at 160mhz too. It Still can’t play MP3’s or Most Video’s. So what is the point ? You Need a Pentium class computer for this. The 5x86 barely runs Win95. I have a cyrix 5x86 running at 120mhz, before i have a amd 5x86 at 160mhz, and never have any problem to play mp3 files …

Dont understand post, vga in 8088 is not very common, but not unusual I have a 8088 with trident vga card and works fine

Amazing!! i still use winamp 2.9 every day, in all my computers, best player ever Tonight as soon arrive home i will download and try to compile The only thing is that winamp 2.x is sooo perfect that i cant think anything to improve

I used compression all my life, in DOS era, stacker, dblspace, etc, in win9x drivespace, and in NT I always compress disk, in fact i have all sdd compressed in all my computers
