You're right. My builds all require SSE2, except the qt-app itself. BTW, are you sure your Athlon XP has enough processing power? I tried it without SSE2 on Celeron 1056 MHz (overclocked 800 MHz) - too slow for most of tunes. But this can be exactly the cause why your media center doesn't like munt …

Thanks for reply I installed both kind of drivers, VXD and WDM, and in DOS (inside windows) i only get sound FX, no music at all i have the set blaster...etc, and inside a DOS box i can get SB emulation in 220 i5 d1, but no music in games For example in wolfenstein i get FX (door open, shots..etc) …

I think the only way to know if a 486SX33 kill my 386, is that spend money in a 486 motherboard.... ahh too bad, is very expensive! with shipping cost is more than US 70... If someone have a 386 please test Mortal Kombat 1 or 2 for me, because i really have the doubt about this....
