Great idea, thx, but all CL54x do not work. I get no picture at all. Must be some kind of resource-conflict with the bridgeboard-environment. Even if I take all other cards ot of the PC-Side of the Amiga, it still does not work for the CL cards. For ATI-CardÄs it's the same. Trident 9xxx also do not …

Beside the interesting nes-emulation discussion I think a GamingPC 1998 should use a voodoo3. I also tested some other cards, but they are mostly useless. 32Bit Gaming with such a low-end CPU is useless. Most Games from 1997-1999 look best on Voodoo und run best on Voodoo. Other Chips are in my …

Having performed more tests with my EGA card, I was able to fix the jerky scrolling on real hardware. On a 486DX2/66, three things had to be in place on my system to fix the problem. First, DOS must be configured to use Expanded Memory. Second, the Fix Jerky Motion setting must be ON in each game. …

I want to play the game with CD-Music but not with the CD in the drive. I own the original but "mounting" a CD-Image with "Deamon-Tools" does not work. I can't hear the music. So the other idea was, ripping the tracks and configuring the game to play mp3's /ogg's or whatever. I do not own the GOG …

Thx Phil! Yes the centering issue is also there with the Speedstar VGA. Text is centered, 320x200gfx are not, or only sometimes. depends on the game.

Take "Dark Forces" for example. This sound quite good on an AWE64Gold (OPL4). In my opinion much better then with CT4170.
