Did some testing with MAGESLAYER. PIII 500 / RageProLT and PCX1 K6 450 / RageIIC and PCX2 P1-233 MMX / MGA + Voodoo1 Man the Voodoo1 runs so smooth with the glide-supported gamedrivers of Mageslayer. But as shown on various comparisions on youtube...the deep colors are mostly gone when using 3dfx.

I can only compare rageIIc vs. PCX1 because these two are in that machine. RageIIc is better on Hellbender. It does not work with the PCI-Sound in that machine on PCX1. (ESS-Solo1) Both are not fast enough for DungeonKeeper1 D3D. (Sound issues on PCX1 too) If we are talking D3D the PCX1 is faster …

Motoracer1 runs good on PCX1. You have to set to PowerVR via 3dcontrol-center and I always use the power-vr flag. Some tracks will not work accelerated because there is not enough free vram.

PVR Cards are better in Tombraider, JediKnight MOS and other earlier games.

On old macversions there had to be a "timedemo.u" file in the system-folder in oder to get the fps visable. Perhaps this works on old pc-versions too.

But it seems I have not setup the MPU correctly. I can't here Dreamblaster Board on my MPU401 Interface. That worked with the ESSOLO.SYS. Perhaps I did something wrong?

I checked the essfinit.bat again. It's best to get the ESS on irq7 much better then on irq5. With a combination of irq7 and "cpucache off" I got some games working. (Pinballdreams2/Pinballfantasies) Issues: - Turrican2 does work with "111" DMA Mode but the game freezes my machine after some minutes …
