When it comes to XP, just install 32-bit XP... the "x64" edition is a pile of garbage. If you need 64-bit support you just have to use windows 7.

The card has the analog connector pins so a DVI to VGA adapter will work, I've never fully understood how the VooDoo2 card functioned with that whole cord thingy.

Gunmetal is worth getting simply because it is by far the best looking MS-DOS game I've ever played, the story might seem a bit odd but the environments in the game really are pretty impressive given how the engine is between Quake and Unreal in terms of overall technology.
