I'd recommend a faster machine for late DOS games, a P133 will struggle with the SVGA modes of Duke3D and Blood for example. My P166MMX + Matrox Millennium setup is nearly OK but I still break out my PIII if I want to get serious with SVGA games - Nascar, System Shock, etc.

...eight years of development... Ya what?! 8 years evolution of the PC during the 80's and 90's saw incredible advancements. Standards coming and going, exponential speed / capacity increases, etc. It was exciting and challenging, and getting the most out of your hardware / software required …

I've never gone past my trusty Thrustmaster GP1 - the one with paddles on the wheel instead of peddles on the floor, which are more trouble than they're worth IMHO
