Yeah, I've even had some odd stability issues using the 133-based 1GHz P3's, AFAIR. Of course, that may have been a MoBo issue as I remember it being hard to get some to work past 750MHz. I went with the slotket S370 1.267GHz and it worked far better on my VC820.

Can someone explain the benefits of this setup described on queststudios site? Why would one need all three -- I thought the Goldfinch card and the MIDI DB's accomplish the same tasks.

Yeah, try "Logitech Wingman" mouse, they show up on e-Bay once in a while but usually for too much $$$.

Ahh, how could I leave out force feedback? But along other lines, not necessarily an interface but since you mentioned the VR glasses, on my D3D machine (S423-1.8GHz) I have Erazor III with the Revelator glasses...which work nice with my Gateway Destination DL36 monitor (albeit only at 800x600). …

Just picked up one of these that was discarded. Anyone know if there was a CD install/app package for this or just drivers? I believe I found the drivers on-line, but no *.iso yet.

SpaceOrb -- nice unit, don't know why it never worked. Excellent for Descent. There is an arduino project to make this work through USB on current OS. I use mine in Fallout 3 and Stalker and I'm still in love with it for FPS titles! Act Labs RS -- have this, too, and I still use it for my GLide …

My VC820 has 2 slots, I can't remember if my P3C-LS (which is now dead) had 2 or 3 slots, but I think it also had only 2.
