tried to run xg-reset.syx and reset.syx but gsplay immediatly closes after playing any of them.. Is there something I have to do I'm missing? 😵

You can sometimes find special midi files that simply send a 'system reset' command to your midi device - that sometimes gets around the power-off / power-on issue when they get messed up. ughhhh, can't find anyone on the net.. Perhaps I am too dumb. Would you give a link to one just to see if …

Oh noes, seems that it also doesn't run on my Obsidian 200SBi + barton 2133 using the magic batchfile.. perhaps fatalracing doesn't like fast cpus? It worked perfectly on PII 350 + Voodoo2 SLI

Late nineties? The Glint 500TX was released in 1996. I suppose it had similar specs as the first Permedia chip which would put it at maybe 60 MPixels/s and 600k triangles/s. If you use a faster CPU than appropriate for 1996 than the Delta co-processor won't help anyway. This chip was never targeted …
