Do you just slip it on there and then select sound blaster for the music selection during the sound card selection of a game? Then if the game has midi it plays the midi through the daughtercard? Or is there any further setup required. This would be for both DOS and Windows 95. -Tristan

I was able to fix it by changing the two DMA settings on the AWE64 GOLD using CTCU. I changed them from 5 and 0 respectively to 1 and 6. Then it worked!! -Tristan

I was wrong, I still can't get sound blaster working on XWing. Even if I select just soundblaster pro, no sound plays. I am running dos 6.22 on Pentium II 333 Mhz. I'm running DOS 6.22 and XWing floppy edition. I have roland scc-1 and SB AWE64 Gold. When I try and run the game with roland and sound blaster I get no sound. Ah got it, hehe. The player.exe binary is actually an archive. That's why I was getting that error. Gues it was taking an argument as to where to extract the data to. The proper binary that came out of that to play midi files is playb.exe. Problem solved. -Tristan

Ah the binary mpuplay takes interrupt and midi address as arguments. Got it to work. Still puzzled why the player.exe binary gives me that error. -Tristan

I downloaded the files from http://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?t=31749 and used mpuplay, and it gave me the error: "Interrupt Level is wrong!"
