Apple computers are hardly present in Russia... There are lots of iPhones, some iPods, hardly any iPads, but when it comes to Macs, I've only seen them on display at Apple Store. I've heard designers use them here a lot, don't know any though 😀

Turbo button would serve if you don't use it. As far as I understand hardware, disabling speaker is as hard as making RTC clock stop ticking. …

I'm leasurely building a rig around a slot 1 PIII-800 and ASUS P3V4X. P3V4X is surely a nice board, a little moody due to VIA chip set, but overall well-built. Will be a couple % slower than a BX tough.
