Tried the program, it doesnt run. I burned some Scooter WAVs onto a disc, and HOLY **** does it sound amazing. I never heard any of my sound cards produce the bass in certain songs that Tahiti easily does. I guess the only other thing I can do is try to make it work under Windows 98.

I ran the DOS version with Windows 3.11 . DOS32A is compatible with windows 3.11 how i read. Also, is there a W3.11 player that DIGITALLY reads Audio discs? I want the card to do the processing not the CD ROM over analogue cable.

Voodoo 6 8000 , what 😀 Some of the most expensive, yet available, components are Roland LAPC-I , Roland 401AT , Roland CM-500, IBM Music Feature Card, MediaTrix cards and Voodoo 5 6000. There are of course more, but these always pop into my mind when i think of such topic.

When i try to play CD Audio i get no output. I check the line levels and nothing is muted. The CD Audio Player shows that its playing and CD Drive indicates that its busy. The CD Drive is NEC CDR-501.

Did you manage to run the card under DOS? And also, can I connect a different daughter board to this sound card? The woman that sold it to me sent the RIO board to recycling. When I take a look at the connector the pin number 1 is on the left.

I used strong alcohol. Just let the alcohol sit on the left over glue and it will soften.
