My guess is a PCI Sega Saturn controller card, the IF-SEGA2/PCI from IODATA. My guess why they used the PowerVR controller was to integrate lightgun technology without VGA loop.

As meljor said, easiest way to do this is buy from the guy in South Korea. I did for my P3B-F and it works flawlessly 😀

Regarding leaving stuff on, I have all my retro gear (monitors, pcs' kvm switches, speakers, midi devices, etc) connected to master power switches, so whenever I'm done, even standby power is off.

S3 Vision series is both a tad quicker and have a little better compatibility than Cirrus cards, but if you have one of the later Cirrus VLB cards I wouldnt change unless I stumbled across an S3 card very cheap.

Unbricked an OCZ Vertex 30GB today and gave it a little run with HD Tach in Windows 98SE. vertex_hdtach.png I guess that poor SATA1 controller of the Asus P4C800-E Deluxe got maxed out. :lol: How did you go about unbricking it? I have a OCZ SSD in a frozen state and cannot get it to respond. Me too …

Please don't let one banned member enable time-lock on edit. It havent been a problem previously. They have this feature on VCF and it is annoying as crazy. I have some posts here on that is updated reguarly (3D API list) and if I have to contact a mod everytime to add something or correct a bad URL …

I know the PC Chips M921 runs the POD in WB mod, same with the Asus VL/I-486SV2GX4 (does not work with SCSI VLB with DMA/busmastering with WB enabled).
