What about them? Is it working with the straight SVN build by Yesterplay? If not, what does happen? More details with all the commands you pass in Dosbox and if there is an error what does it say?

Any chance of adding this patch? https://sourceforge.net/p/dosbox/patches/100/ Btw what is the reason not to have all these patches integrated into the main branch? Hasn't this been discussed in length by now? Many patches add stuff that is not needed for games. Or in this case it edges DOSBox …

if you can playback Midi on the keyboard it should be ablw to be used as the output device in the midi device selection.

Dosbox emulates PC Speaker and plays back through the soundcard. If the pc speaker were to be hooked up to that you could maybe get frankenstein sound off it. Probably not good sound (afaik, todays pc speaker are not the same quality as yesterdays')

No, it wouldn't make sense, except perhaps hooking up a CRT. Dosbox emulates everything and uses the existing modern OS for that.
