In the config of Dosbox you can write different output settings. Output=surface Or overlay or ddraw or opengl. SVN build: DOSBox SVN Builds

You can use the mac svn builds and point at the conf file via terminal.

Can you try an SVN build of Dosbox? AND I think there was/is an issue that makes you try different output settings in the config (as strange as that sounds).

No, you can do whatever you want. You just have to be aware that it is not safe. Though the worst that will happen is that youtube deletes it.

But I now see in the wiki that stuff gets put inside mingw to a folder named after the user. I don't know an easy way yet. Somone on Windows needs to step up.

Seems the best way to do things is putting everything somewhere without spaces. So instead of your userspace, put it into c:/compile or something like that. A quick search found that.

That's not your prefix. The prefix is where the stuff gets copied to.

For the path problem you need to pass --prefix= to the configure line. I'm not on Windows anymore and it's been a while since I used mingw/msys so you will need to experiment a bit. Something like ./configure --prefix="/home/some path/" Might need single quotes ' instead of double quotes " and you …

Not really, but looking at the file dates inside the archive should help. So best grab the SVN, either via SVN program or let SF zip the latest source (when you look at the SVN page on SF there is anoption somewhere). That part needs changing in the wiki, I guess.
