Moved to Dosbox section as it is very likely a Dosbox question. Please make sure to read the forum descriptions before posting. Share is not supported in Dosbox, it is in other forks of it. You can use fakeshare but that is... fake... and isn't safe to use.

The static linking patch is only needed if you want to build for other machines as well (except for the cursed curses ;)). Mr.Bigmouth - I was thinking about that as well. For starters, you would need to get rid of "-arch i386" only Apple's gcc/clang knows about that, "m32" is the correct thing to …

I don't see any reason for NT. On Windows 3.x you can run a lot of games. Most of them run the same on Windows 9x BUT you can run Windows 3.x in Dosbox eithout any problem ;) Errr... there are a vast world outside games, you know. The question I replied to was what people are using NT or Windows …

Unless you really want to do anything with the copy, just grab the game from GOG. This will be much cheaper than getting a kryoflux.

There is no reason. It's just that people assume 64bit is better on a 64bit system. And on linux it's a bit more of a hassle to build 32bit when the system is 64bit. Dosbox SVN has a working 64bit core but it's still not up to 32bit dynamic core, having problems with some games and still being a lot …

You can still use the32bit version of dosbox-x on Windows 7 64bit. You probably used that before. 32bit Dosbox (-x) is always better
