This link is for Linux and not Windows. Do it as P4r4dox writes: when you mount d use mount d e:\ -t cdrom

Why don't you adjust this with your hosts mixer? Midi volume and wave volume (or what it's called) in the Windows sound mixer (if you are on windows). Then there is thebuilt in mixer of dosbox, see the manual

Maybe a mod will split your post. In my dealings with development it is better to open a new thread for a new bug. Piling everything in one thread only makes it one pile everyone wants to forget. There is also the bug tracker on sourceforge.

Does it really ask to install to wonderland? That is not an installer for dos but for a command prompt that supports long file names. Chose a directory name that has max 8 characters

actually no, I wouldn't. I really don't lower myself to that level. Edit: to be fair, I'd might go that low for something I really really *NEED* (survival needs) but not for something I want. Raised to be better than the gutter...

With lock stock Dosbox (release or my svn build) impossible. With the megabuild perhaps but no idea... Also look for posts by emendelson he has some hackish additions which might make it possible somehow. Also not sure whether that works for os x

I'm pretty sure the readme states the name and location of the conf on OS X. If you want the newest SVN snapshot, use mine in my sig.
