you need to make a new image of your original CD. The dmg image most likely did not image the audio tracks.

As far as a quick glance went it's a proprietary file format so I guess there is no open source code to read the files. And it doesn't seem as if there are many files around...

and when you have this sorted out, make sure you only cmake the lib and nothing else, because the other stuff wants glib2 (and that brings a whole other hell to compiling life 😀)

You don't need to compile SDL you just need to place the mingw package correctly. Wiki article is writing something wrong in regard to this.

I wonder if you could code in a default location for the Roms when using the mt32lib? Afai understand it is using the folder from where you start whatever program is using the lib. My proposal would be ~/.mt32 on linux, /library/application support/mt32 (or in the userspace ~/library/application …

NamelessPlayer, there is a patch for 3dfx support and yes, yhkwong offers this, but official Dosbox SVN does not have 3dfx support *at all*

No 3dfx, yet No AWE32 since you can use external midi devices that load soundfonts and other than that there is no use for special awe32 emulation.

Did you *try* it the other way round? Because I still think it should be the other way. The cable saying out should be hooked to the mt32 IN. The cable says OUT because it's where the signal comes out from the PC. And to receive midi the mt32 needs that signal to come IN.
