Why not use a scripting thing? On OS X apple script and on windows authotkey or something. Steps on hotkey press : - read clipboard - put dosbox in foreground - type clipboard (for apple script make a global hotkey that starts the script, for authotkey make it a background process and then it will …

And this works correctly on Windows Dosbox with the real CD? If you use the same mountings (meaning that /War2 is both on windows dosbox and OSX at c:/war2) you can just copy a successfull install over. I doubt that is the problem but is your OSX case sensitive (by default it's not).

AFAIK you can't without it being mapped to a drive/folder. On your second question about fullscreen first update your graphics drivers to the newest available from the vendor and then try different output settings in dosbox.conf

Shouldn't coremidi module be straightforward when you look at how dosbox, scummvm, exult implement it? Personally I'm passing on qt stuff, too many dependencies that screw things up (I'm biased, had to do something with it once, two years ago and that didn't work out)
