But is there a way to make Dosbox or any other Dos emulator more like a one click console emulator? Leaving the technical things out of the equation (yes it could use a gui to set things up) I don't quite see it unless you provide the games.

The bug is fixed in SVN (the up to date sourcecode) so you have to either build it yourself or grab a precompiled build. It's not in a release yet. Yes, there are games that wirk like this but then you have games like Ultima 7 (especially part 2) that required you to turn off EMS, and have as much free memory free as possible. You can click on the "last reply" bit to get to the last page. Is it really important to know the number of pages? Isn't the number of replies the better thing to know? Number of pages is a very arbitrary thing. For 40 replies you could have 1 page, or 40 or something in between.

You cannot use the batch file on OS X. Look at the contents of the dosboxps.cfg. Mount the folder that the cfg is in on OSX (e.g. mount c /users/ckorodenis/desktop/ps) and then change to c in Dosbox and run the exe that is referenced in the dosboxps.cfg C: Ps.exe
