Downloaded games might be faulty and are not supported unless they are official downloads. I asked for the dosbox version because people are often using ancient versions...

First, next time post in the dosbox forum. This forum is about emulating a mac not emulation on mac. To troubleshoot, rename the dosbox config. A driver disk is most most likely not copy protected in any way, so just copying the files with explorer should be enough (select all files and drag them to another folder)

For the dosbox approach you should give us the mountings you tried, or even better read and follow the 60 seconds guide in the dosbox part of this forum.

you need to fix your caps lock key, perhaps D-Fend doesn't like all uppercase or the game detects the capslock key locked and doesn't work because of that... 😀 also double/cross posting is not neceassary...

Depends on what you want to achieve... If you want to do the same thing all the time, use the autoexec.bat on the image.
