nope. The only thing passed through when you boot from an image is the hard drive image and a/the floppy image.

don't use that guid but use the dosbox.conf that comes with Dosbox. OR rename that dosbox.conf_ file to dosbox.conf. You didn't follow what the guide has written down but what you saw in the picture (the cursor behind dosbox.conf looks like a _ in the picture...)

@Termit, unless you are compiling yourself you shouldn't bother with diff files. Diff files are text files that list the differences between two files in a text file. Normally you would use the diff file with the program patch (e.g. "patch < diff.file") and then you compile the patched source.

For me the left/right scroll works horizontally in most apps (I say most because I can't remember if it didn't work in any) in both OS X and Windows... That said it works, when there is a horizontal scroll bar 😀

Most likely the issue is that you didn't install the application from within Dosbox. Almost all games and applications (for Dos, maybe even Windows 3.1x) that load stuff off the CD-Rom write the location of the CD-Rom drive to some config file. If the CD is then no longer to be found in that drive …

VDMS' functionality decreases with each new Windows OS. You can try and let us know how it works for you. BUT if you have a newer machine, then running DOSBox provides you with much more games support AND it runs on W7x64...
