Well the .exe I downloaded doesn't come with dosbox.conf, so I'm using the one from the YKHVONG built I'd been previously using. Well, then you are not using the latest offcial release AND generating a default config file is easy.

Please, "sacreaming" (posting in all caps) doesn't make people more friendly towards you. Please read the thread again, rolloLG has the correct answer and it wasn't uninstalling your driver but replacing it.

Yeah, and that SDL version still made use of the depreceated Quickdraw. New SDL makes use of quartz. I was just finding it interesting, that the 0.73 showed the same defect in fullscreen, since all my other color problems with the new SDL do not show in 0.73 😀

interestingly, the oficial 0.73 release for mac which colors generally works fine for me, does have the blueish prompt in fullscreen/machine=vgaonly. The windowed mode is correctly coloured.

For Mac, it really seems best to make a bin/cue image of the CDs and use imgmount for that. You should have sound then. You might need to look into how boxer handles CD images but I'm sure there is an easy way to do that 😀 (boxer seems to be well thought out, judging from my brief testing of it)

I'm curious if maybe they are supposed to be all mounted to the same drive... which will be my next attempt... They need to be mounted to the same drive and then you can switch the isos by hitting ctrl+option+f4 (AFAIK).

If you are able to compile your own Wii built you could be bale to built Dosbox Wii with Hall's patches. Without compiling this cannot be done.

I don't know how much they needed exactly but it was probably similar to Dangerous Dave 3, they needed less with disabled sound.

Ultima 7 Part1 and 2 are extremely mem hungry and were a pain to configure back in the days, because they had their own memory manager and that didn't allow for emm386 to be used, so no way to load anything into upper memory (until UMBPCI came around 😀).
