did you install the game from within Dosbox/windows 3.x? If you just took an old WFW3.11 installation the game might point to another CD-ROM location.

Keep a closer track of what else you do with these files, when this happens and make sure you keep track of which files work and which files don't. Dosbox doesn't change stuff and if an exe once works it should keep on working unless you do something with the file. Maybe a virus changes them?

If you take the time to notice the tiny bugs, why not make a list as well. The more specific you are the easier it is for the devs to look into it. And valid bug reports are mostly welcome in open source projects 😀

yeah, as I wrote if your patch fixes some of the share.exe woes on Dosbox (I presume file locking is one of them) then disregard my opinion :) I wouldn't make it a dosbox.conf option, imo dosbox.conf settings aren't supposed to be that much specific for issues. OTOH since the patch hasn't got much …

Svn is current code of Dosbox. On the plus side the video recording issupposed to be fixed in svn. On the other hand svn builds can be unstable.

Use the s3 drivers in the guide and select 256 colors. Or elaborate the "don't work" part of your post. There is a way to start a windows program like that, but I don't remember 😉

Just to put my former comment right, the last beta version you could freely install, was working much better since it had a dynamic core implementation. Selling it on the itunes store is a bold move. I wouldn't have thought that Apple allows it. Also it doesn't sit right for me...
