I got my first V5 myself and I can't understand your disappointment at all (I'm a bit disappointed myself, but that's another story :happyhappy:). That old thermal grease is nasty, get some thermal grease remover from the hardware shop if they have it (it's basically citric acid I think). Otherwise yeah great case and I definitely remember those keys from back in the day 😀

1280 x 1024 5ms It's 5:4, not 4:3. I don't think a lot of 1280x960 monitors exist (if any), only the really old 1024x768 or high-end 1600x1200s like the one I posted... Also some beastly 2048x1536 CRTs do exist :) My old laptop had a max resolution of 1280 x 960 and that was a 16:10 widescreen …

Might I suggest that you bump up the XP rig one or two generations ahead to an A64 or Phenom build? Or Intel equivalent if that suits you.
