Make sure the rubbing alcohol is ISOPROPYL alcohol. no, thank you! This relieves (a tad) of the need for original MPU401's. It only takes a lightning strike, or some static to kill off older equipment, so having these out in the wild will help with demand. Now I just need to get the Gravis Ultarsound "remake" and I'll think I'll be good hardware-wise …
