Looking at the front drive bays mine has 2 5.25 bays and yours has 4 so it doesn't look like itll fit (also look at the expansion slots on the back, and yours seems to have a normal sized PSU while mine is small). I really really appreciate you asking and taking the time to check though!

Hmm. Yeah that should be good enough as far as the PSU. I'd try a different CPU on this board , or try this CPU on another board if possible. Good luck and let us know what happens.

I ran it using a high end socket a CPU and a typical video card of that time frame and the recommended PSU was 30 amps on the 5v rail and only 10 amps on the 12v rail. I'd try a new bios battery if you haven't done so. Otherwise it sounds like a PSU, RAM or motherboard problem. If you don't see anything physically wrong with the board (damaged capacitors, etc) it would leave me to believe it is the PSU since you've tried different memory. Even if it is new, cheap …

Received and set up a trendnet 4port KVM with audio switch. Works great! Computer 1 is my daily driver (FX60). 2 is my windows 2000 retro rig (slot A Athlon 750). 3 is my DOS system. And 4 is kept available to quickly attach to a setup for testing or mucking around with 😀

I almost threw out an offer on that listing but went for a dual slot 1 instead!! I think it was a pretty fair price. I know the P5A is generally considered one of the better SS7 boards, and IIRC, that revision supports the K6-3+ and 2+. If everything works and you're happy then it was a fine deal.
