You can also use SHSUCDX & SHSUCDHD to mount an ISO image of the game and use the rush patch that you have.

This is a 1990 game that ran on XTs and CGA/EGA, very far from the Windows 98 era in computers time. Why are you mixing SIMMs in the memory banks? Unless this motherboard has a very unusual arrangement, put the same 4 SIMMs in each bank. Also please show us the BIOS screen where you specify the installed memory. What was initially written there with the 4MB, 4096, 3712, 3072, something else?

For older systems don't forget to make sure that the hard drive can keep up! It wasn't an issue at the time, but now that we can use faster LAN hardware we sometimes ignore that factor.

The author of the utility is a member here and has recently released updated versions of it. check out this thread: HWiNFO for DOS resurrected ! and of course you can download every version directly from the official web site which very kindly still offers everything.
