You stick it into a computer and look at the BIOS info screen. I believe that the BIOS only displays if an FPU is present or not. Plus it'll run at the processor's speed if the motherboard doesn't have jumpers for asynchronous operation -mine doesn't, am i wrong on this? He wasnt lying ;) http:// …

Did you try up to 1280x1024? Any lag? No, not that high. But in 1024x768 (max of my 386's ISA VGA) in Windows 3.1 feels OK for normal GUI stuff. I don't play serious games utilizing the mouse as the main controller on this machine (was there anything anyway?) so my experience with the adapter is …

I think DBase files were .dbf, but don't count on that as it could be related to version number, etc. The date of the .db file might help in establishing a time frame. Of course you can look for text inside the file itself or try opening it with something like Libre office db application in case …

Kind of late to the thread, but I thought to just leave this here: For connecting only 2 PCs in order to play DOOM, the easiest solution without setting up any network is to just use a serial cable and play a serial game. Of course it limits you to 2 computers and does not apply for other games not …

@konc Your system has a FPU? that may be the cause about why the craft is not on screen and the fps being weird.
