Voodoo 1 is best option for P-133. I saw them sold for around 50-60eur a few months ago but could go as high as 100€. Not sure what is the going rate in your part or what price range would be good for you.

With my experience when one chip is faulty, cache is disabled by the BIOS and you get the error message at boot. But for troubleshooting... First try to increase the timings of L2 and maybe also L1 cache. Most instabilities occur with too tight timings. Then you can also disable L2 cache in BIOS. If …

Some random benchmark of AMD 5x86-133 @180. So 100Mhz should be ~216 points. Also Intel 486DX4-100 has at least two versions. One with 8KB L1 cache and other wih 16KB L1 cache. So there should be some difference from get go. EDIT: Only now seen it's an Overdrive CPU. Not sure how much L1 have these. …

I've played with different cards and it seems my Diamond Monster MIDI is dead. It's silent 🙁( Also found attached to some sound card Turtle Beach CancunFX. By the looks of it, it seems very similar to Diamond Monster MIDI. What are the differences between the two?

Even if there is a jumper with IRQ setting (I haven't seen it on any ISA Mach64 card tho). The more pressing problems aren't associated with it (memory size, image corruption, green tint).

Checked for any loose pins on the chips and it seems all the pins have good connection. About memory size. It's recognized only 1MB of VRAM. M64 diagnostics says 8x 256K VRAM - so it should be 2MB. I have also put the 2MB memory upgrade card on it and it still recognizes only 1MB of VRAM. Probably …

The PCI card is a donor if some chips on ISA card are bad. ISA card works as shown on the photos. Only BIOS chips are socketed. I already cleaned the ISA connector. How might someone diagnose what to replace? Memory chips, DAC...
