I can confirm that the picture blockiness is not visible on CRT monitors. Tried several problematic graphic cards and they all look very good.

I guess you have a Slot 1 motherboard. Tualatins need PGA2 adapter or a rewire on a Slotket adapter. Also 1133MHz is on a 133FSB, so your MB needs to support it.

All Mobile Athlon XP chips have unlocked multi. Usually the problem is with the BIOS not having multiplier above 12.5X. This can be solved via some software in Windows - but it usually still won't go higher then the default multi of the chip itself - remember that Socket A mobiles are FSB 133 and …

That would entirely depend on the PC that you use - mainly CPU and memory. Win95 is considered to be for the fast 486 or slow to mid-range Pentium class. I don't use Win95 much, but I always use Total Commander V7.x or V8.x for whatever Win OS. Anyway... you can try Wincmd V3.x - they were released …

1st one was Atari 800XL around 1987. It lasted till I bought a PC-AT 286/16Mhz in 1992 with VGA color monitor 😉 From then on there is a looong list of upgrades 😁

I'm wondering what is the optimal cache speed for 386 and 486. I have here one 386DX-40 with 15ns and another 386DX-40 with 20ns. With benchmarks there is no speed difference. Is there any way to determine what would be the slowest speed of cache and not to slow down the processing (20, 25ns)?

Single core performance of AMD E-350 is around P-IV 3GHz / Athlon XP 2500+. Have you checked that you don't have v-sync enabled. Then you can't get over 60fps.
