Well, I'm certainly not limiting myself exclusively to DOS games of course (in fact, I've thrown quite a bit of Windows titles into the list in the first post). Found this yesterday at IndieDB, haven't tried out yet: Galaxies and Empires This is a space sci-fi RTS, the files section contains what is called the full version from 2014 with skirmish mode only. It appears that development continues, as a newer demo is available from the itch.io page.
