What strange behaviour. I guess it never showed up during alpha testing because I always checked to make sure the variable was changed correctly. Go into your System Control Panel, then to the Advanced tab, then to Environment Variables, then find the PATH variable, double-click it, and click "OK" …

Impossible! A broken beta installer?!! *looks around, shuffles his feet* Nothing to see here... Never had that problem in testing. You running as an Administrator? Right now it is exclusively a system-wide install, there is no opportunity to just install for one user, so it modifies the HKLM keys.

No, and I have no idea what DLLs they are, otherwise I would've tried it. (I already copied the QuickTime 2 DLLs into the program folder so as to keep them out of my system folder where such antiques do not belong.)
