You have to run CDSHOCK.EXE as follows: DOS4GW CDSHOCK.EXE Otherwise it uses a crash-prone extender.

Hmm, yeah. That'll happen. Um, have you tried running it in DOSBox? I bet it's a DPMI game though, hmm... Well, you might have to wait, there isn't much to be done about games using processor clock speeds to perform things.

SO. You got this patch: http://www.irrationalgames.com/shock2/files/shkpatch.exe And then you got a No-CD crack for the CORRECT VERSION of the game. And it doesn't work. Do I have this correct?

Runtime Error 200 means that it is a Turbo Pascal game choking on your speedy CPU. There are some TP patchers floating somewhere in Deep Thought.
