Yeah, I think so. Not sure how it will blow over, but it's worth a shot. When I am feeling less sick (hah, when is that!?) and the VOGONS design has been implemented I'll start work on a system to congregate resources.

Not in my experience, although the most advanced sound card I ran on a Win9x box was a SBLive!. Try using the alpha version of VDMSound for Win9x. (In VDMSound > Development forum.)

Consider yourself lucky, I have the 'budget' version and it HAS no CD audio. The bloody-hand cursor did not exist in the Glide version.

Vlad, that is untrue. Digital CD mode will work in all programs. It is transparent, it just runs through EIDE instead of a 3-pin analogue cable or a 2-pin digital cable. Gabriel Knight is a departure from most of Sierra's earlier SCI releases, since it is the first (I believe) to utilize full motion video. I can't give you many details, but I can tell you that if you wait until you get to the map screen to save the Windows interpreter works just fine. 😀
