I've had it complain about changed configurations when installing it through NTVDM and then running it through DOSBox, but if you've managed to install it in DOSBox I'm not sure what would change unless you've been messing with your settings.

Wow, dude. That's really weird. I'm not sure what to make of this. Have you made sure that you've got all the patches for the game? (I mean, this could be a problem that manifested itself in pre-NT systems as well.)

Actually, I think it was that GoSierraV2 was a kluge for Dynamix games, whereas GoSierraV3 was an actual fix based on facts instead of inference.

Does the WinNT version of EMM386 allow forced memory locations? If so this should be a pretty easy fix -- just force it to load into the memory addresses where monochrome video instructions would have been.

AUTOEXEC.NT loads DOSX in high-memory, whereas the VDMSound's AUTOEXEC does not. You can enter this into the "custom autoexec.nt" box in the Launchpad: lh %SystemRoot%\system32\dosx.exe and see if that doesn't fix the problem. Make sure to DESELECT the DOSX option elsewhere in the Launchpad.
