Run a search for any file with 'Ke386' in it. Also search for a file named GIVEIO.SYS.

The same problem that Vlad's database created on SourceForge also occurs here. It's all Vlad's fault, but I'm willing to live with it until it brings down the system.

I think the Windows version of GTA just uses DirectDraw. In any case, you're not alone on the slowdown front: it runs extremely poorly here too, no matter what resolution or colour depth I choose. (nVidia, DT42.82)
