Someone else mentioned this before... ...Paul said he was gonna fix it... ...I guess he didn't. 😜 Just use the EXE. C'mon. Don't be afraid. It's just a harmless installer.

I checked Moby's data sheet, and it does use VESA. Unregistered, get NOLFB.COM. I'm also moving this thread to The Guide > DOS. You will need to register to respond, but this is not a VDMSound related issue, and registration is quick and painless. 😀

All signs point to a poorly coded game. Not a whole lot we can do, although maybe someone that's in the know around here can do some poking around in the code and make a patch. Speaking of patches, are there any (and have you tried them)?

Big-O has been having problems lately. I thought they had sorted them out; apparently not. 😜 Perhaps someone has the installer that they can upload?

VDMSound is to emulate sound cards. However, I recommend it over XP's emulation any day, so you should get it anyway. 😀 Some games (like MadTV) don't detect mice for whatever reason.

For MIDI, make sure you've got the program correctly configured. For speed, get SPEEDSET.

Open your Task Manager (right-click on the Start Menu and choose "Task Manager") and make sure "NTVDM.EXE" isn't running. If it is, select it, and choose "End Process."
