Sounds good, but not great, wonderful, excellent, or awesome, but, not bad. I use my older hardware for old DOS and Windows games, or DOSBox to test out the games I bought from GOG.com or Steam to see how it performs and which bugs the games might have, such as not supporting more than 32MB RAM.

Fancy. For the CD-ROM drive, in DOS, did it give you a device not ready error or when you try to launch the setup file it doesn't open up the setup file? I have that drive myself and the only issue mine had was a bad eject mechanism motor (corrosion and it was on its last legs), soldered on a motor …

Ouch, man. I believe a dash of solder and a thin wire would fix that. Does your other board have that defect as well? Also, what is TLBMM?

I noticed the belt is stretched and some of the broken CD drives I have don't have a belt in them (just gears), but, another drive I have does have the belt, yet, it's tight (that's normal, right?). Edit: replaced the motor for the eject mechanism from a busted CD drive and it works. I'll test it …

Did some diagnostics on the drive itself a while ago. The CD-ROM ejects with a CD in the drive, but, without a disk in the drive, it won't eject. Closer to getting the drive to function.
