I almost mentioned that. I have the choice command set for MS-DOS games, as well as the different sound card options (PC Speaker, Tandy 3-Voice, Adlib/Sound Blaster + SFX, MT-32, and GM/XG). It's worth a try.

I switched the primary video from PCI to AGP/IGP instead and the monitor does get 1280x1024 at 16-bit color mode. I had that SCSI RAID card that was in a Dell PowerEdge 6300 server, and I used it in my K6/2-300 system until I killed the card when I was updating the BIOS (never do that). I checked to see if the theory worked by hooking it up to the IGP port and it does go to 1280x1024. I'll test it again after I restart the computer (REM'd the HIMEM.SYS and EMM386.EXE drivers in the config.sys file) with the GeForce 6200. Still no luck with the GeForce 6200 card. I'll attempt that, just have to disable the EMM386 and HIMEM.SYS memory drivers from config.sys to make the IGP work and I'll post the results.

Yes. I also "re-installed" windows to see what would happen and nothing. Also, the refresh rate isn't setting at all and I believe it might be the video card to blame for this or I need to reseat the video card and VooDoo2 card as well.
