Linux is better than Windows 10 in my opinion. For retro activity, I modified my GameBoy Colors to have the Q5 IPS OSD displays in place of the lightless display and the TFT one I installed a long time ago. Gotta order some IPS ready shells and put the guts from the systems in the new shells.

Bought some parts for my retro portable consoles: shells, displays, buttons, membranes, and parts for my DMG-01 and GameBoy Color systems (well, modern items for retro consoles). The DS Lite is considered modern in this day and age.

On my day off, I bought yet another Original Xbox system and this time, the version 1.4 for $49.99 + tax at a local thrift store and it came with the A/V cable, power cord, and a Pelican controller wireless receiver in the original box. I did test it out and removed the clock cap after testing it …

Tested my newly acquired Original Xbox 1.4 console to see if it powers on and it works. Removed the clock cap since they are prone to leaking and it didn't spew its guts out.

Installed a 60 mile range HDTV indoor/outdoor antenna to my DTA box that is connected to my Kawasho TV set and I get the CBC station, which only works if nothing else is turned on (interference). Attempted to fix the Game Link Port on my childhood GameBoy Color and it broke the IC socket the clock …
