When does it cut out? I think its censored. it cuts out just as the little girl jumps off the swing, and its very abrupt. It could be censored , but from looking into it, I cant find anything about the UK version being censored. Someone had the same problem on GOG, I think it is in fact censored, …

nope , still does it. thing is Im not getting any error messages, the FMV literally just cuts and goes into the gameplay, without finishing

well , Ive tried several chipset drivers for both Win98SE and WIn2K. Win98 did benefit from the older drivers, lower resolution results are higher. On the other hand, Win2K shows no improvement , and was actually slightly worse in performance, meaning I settled on the 2002 drivers as a compromise. …

hmm, I went ahead and quickly tested a couple of games in Win98SE , and the numbers were actually identical to Win2K meaning there is something slowing down this PC by a bit, will have to find out what is it.

^^ that and the Via33a is not that optimized to run Dual Tualatin. It will work, but an Appollo 266 or ServerWorks ServerSet III HE-SL Chipset preform much better. Well, the 3DMark results are similar to RTCW results - 20% more. While the theoretical difference would be 40%, but I guess these benchmarks depend on other factors, like memory bandwidth which is equal for 815 and 133A. I could I suppose try a more powerful GPU , like a Geforce3, but its still …

Even if you take the dual CPU factor out, its still rather odd that the 1Ghz Coppermine is nearly keeping uk with a Tualatin 1.4S , which is what is so odd about it
