A lot of flagship MT-32 adventures from the late 1980s require intelligent MPU-401. That is also the MT-32 / CM-32L (and variants) MIDI golden age.

Cool machine. OEM minitowers are very uncommon. Especially < Pentium.

Sure. That is the eternal DB50XG versus SCD-15 debate. 😀 However: overall Roland GM / GS is the best standard IMO.

I am curious whether this guy will ever finish the GOT story. I read all the books and was not impressed. The TV show script writers already took drastic actions to speed up the story line and exclude a lot of side story lines (that very suddenly end in the books usually).

Some people need specific hardware for specific needs: manufacturing / medical and so on. $400 is a bargain when the choice is: a) production or b) no production because it would enable something.
