When I visited Sao Paolo in May I went to Morumbi Mall a few times for dinner and movies. Quite fun. 😀

My Magnavox 486 SX appears to have died. I plugged a PCB in and it would not turn on. I took it out. It then posted yesterday. Today I switched some PCBs around. Now it does not POST but turns on. Too bad but with this 20+ years old equipment you never know when retirement comes along.

When I lived in ZA I drove a BMW 525i and in NL a VW Polo / VW Golf / Lexus LS 400 / Jaguar XJ6 and Lexus LS 400 in chronological order. I prefer full size sedans. Too bad the Lexus LS 460 is too expensive so I had a Ford Taurus SEL AWD but after having too many issues I bought the Toyota Avalon …

In the US there is no alternative to GSP. There is no way to ship anything anymore: USPS Priority is just insanely expensive. I looked into mailing a MT-32 to RU a few weeks ago: USPS would have cost $75. 😵 CN has surface mail. That is how they are so competitive.

The Windows 10 screen pops up but I am not forced to upgrade on any of my machines (W500, W510, W520). My work X1 Carbon does not even have the Windows 10 upgrade icon in the task bar (Windows 7 Pro).

So far I have never had any issues with GSP. With USPS international rates through the roof now (except for really small / light packages with 1st class mail: no tracking!) there is no way to sell anything through eBay internationally without GSP anymore. UPS / FedEx / TNT / DHL are all way too …

Yesterday I beat the AI in Warlords II at the highest difficulty level. What a blast. :) I also swapped out my MT-32 and SC-55ST for my CM-500. I am not sure the CM-500 will work very well for old games with MT-32 so I may have to stack my CM-32L with it as well. I will experiment with that later …
