Are you using WDM or VxD drivers? Try VxD drivers.

Off topic, but I found out yesterday my PCI Yamaha YMF-744 outputs music through SPDIF in the setupds.exe program when selecting the 16-bit audio test. But there is no output in the 8-bit audio test.

There is a thread somewhere on VOGONS about an ISA CMI-8338 based sound card that has SPDIF capability in MS-DOS.

Does the BIOS allowing you to reserve IRQ 5? Mine doesn't maybe that's why DSDMA causes my computer to reboot.

The picture of the box says SPDIF but I don't see it on the card. Or do you need the diamond MX25 daughter board?

Tertz, have you figured out how to get digital TOSLINK output working on YMF7x4 in real MS-DOS? I can only get the optical digital to work in Windows 98SE.

Tertz, is it better for me to set Dosbox-Daum OPL and mixer to 48000 since my YMF-744 has a different clock than the YMF-724? Or do I leave the OPL rate at 49716?

I bought 3d Rage Wipeout but I get an error message when I run the game, "2002: Could not open file, or CD is missing from the drive." I have the CD in my DVD drive and I also made a disc image but I get the same error. Does the CD need to be in drive D, because my drive D is a 2nd hard drive.
